You have to admit, cleaning your window can be sometimes painstaking but it's something we really have to do. Rain or shine, our window collects dirt and waxy film that can be eyesore to our house. But with a little bit of attention and right cleaning materials to use, cleaning your windows can be habit-forming.
Here are some tricks on how to clean your windows:
Gather the following materials: dry & clean cloth, spray bottle with diluted cleanser in water, old newspaper and squeegee. Normally, these materials are readily available inside your cleaning cabinet. If you do not have squeegee, just buy from a nearby store. It does not cost that much.
Once your cleaning materials are complete and ready, it's time to clean the window.
Shake your spray bottle to make sure the cleanser is well mixed. Spray directly to the window, starting from the top going to the bottom. Let the liquid rest for about 2 minutes to soften the dirt and residue on your window. After 2 minutes, roll the newspaper in such a way you are creating a ball-like shape. Wipe the glass where you earlier sprayed the cleanser. Start with the top most area until you cover the entire space. By now, you will already notice that the glass has improved in terms of visibility. At this point, you are not yet ready to leave the chore.
For the second time, spray the cleanser as what you have done the first time. Leave it again for another 2 minutes. Using your squeegee, put the rubber blade on top of the glass and apply pressure. Pull it downward in one consistent motion. Do not stop in the process. This will create a temporary mark.
Complete this motion to fully clean the window. Repeat the process on the other side of the window.
That was easy, right? You can now enjoy a better view of your window.
Have a great day!
