WHO CAN AUDITION:
- Audition is open to all amateur artists.
- Individuals who embody the BGC personality of loving a real passion for his progressive art form.
- Should be a Performance Artist (dancer, musician, singer, theater or any similar art) OR a Creative Artist (painter, sculptoror any similar art)
HOW TO AUDITION:
- Starting February 18, 2012, an eligible artist may send a youtube link of their performance to bgcimpromptu@gmail.com for initial screening.
- The total video length should only be 2-minutes and should contain:
- A 30-second self introduction of the participant with his name, age and description of what their performance is about and what's in their passion that they love about.
- A 1 1/2 minute performance piece which should clearly represent the whole of the individual's performance
- The performance should not be offensive or obscene in nature.
SCREENING PROCESS
- Audition videos will be screened by the BGC Impromptu Committee.
- Qualified performance and creative artists will receive an email invitation for their live auditions and will be requested to bring the following:
- Two (2) 2"x2" ID Photos
- A photocopy of a government issued ID which shows their picture and birthdate
- During their auditions, participants will be requested to fill up an Artist's Data Form which will form part of their files with BGC Impromptu.
- Minors should also bring a signed authorization letter from their guardian or parent and should be accompanied by an adult during the live auditions.
- Those who passed the live auditions will be sent a formal congratulatory email. This email will contain the date/time and instructions how they can retrieve their official BGC Impromptu IDs.
- Those who do not pass the initial screening will be informed via email.
PROCESS IN BECOMING AN OFFICIAL BGC IMPROMPTU ARTIST
- All qualified artists should bring their congratulatory emails to the Fort Bonifacio Development Corp. Office, 2nd Flr., Bonifacio Technology Center, 32nd Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, to retrieve their official BGC Impromptu ID's.
- The ID is non-transferrable and cannot be used by other performers.
- Schedule of performances will be coordinated with the BGC Impromptu Committee.
