In its entry, Seda Hotels emphasized its determination to fulfill its obligations to all its stakeholders during the pandemic. It remained steadfast to LIVEM values and supported by strong management-employee relations that had been established from the early years of its existence, was able to rise to the challenge and work through the uncertainties, gracefully managing a situation that was unprecedented in the world. The “Best in Health and Well-Being” Program award recognizes excellence and innovation in workplace health and well-being programs and initiatives. Seda Hotels stated that “Protecting the Workforce” was one of its priority areas to ensure smooth business continuity in the face of Covid-19. To do this, the HR team, led by Ms. Wilma Estaura, implemented a Holistic Wellness Program that put emphasis on mitigating the adverse consequences of the crisis on its people, keeping them motivated, productive, engaged and consistently effective at performing their duties despite the circumstances.
